Story
About 1,200 years ago,
Kukai, the founder of Koyasan,
was searching for a place deep in the mountains.
It is said that he met a hunter accompanied by two dogs,
who quietly guided him through the forest paths to Koyasan.
At the foot of the mountain stands Niukanshofu Shrine,
a place still connected to this story of guidance.
Perhaps guidance is not about going farther away,
but about returning to a quieter place within ourselves.

弘法大師・空海は、高野山への道を探していました。
その時、白と黒の犬を連れた狩人に出会い、
山深い道を導かれるようにして、高野山へ辿り着いたと伝えられています。
高野山の麓にある丹生官省符神社は、
その「導き」の物語と深く結びついた場所として、今も静かに佇んでいます。
「導き」とは、
遠くへ進むことではなく、
本来の静かな感覚へ戻っていくことなのかもしれません。
